Etihad Airways has unveiled a new line of premium amenity kits and loungewear, further extending its relationship with luxury design house Georgio Armani, as well as creating a new partnership with the luxe beauty brand Espa.

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier has launched new loungewear for First Class and Residence guests, as well as Business Class passengers on long-haul flights, alongside sleek new amenity kits, which build on Etihad’s tableware with collaboration with Armani/Casa.

Espa skincare products feature in all of the premium amenity kits, while only First and Residence Class passengers will be gifted Georgio Armani-designed loungewear. Business Class passengers will get locally designed loungewear with the new kits set to be progressively rolled out from the end of February.

Etihad is introducing two types of Giorgio Armani-branded unisex amenity kits in Business Class, which come in the form of a clutch or a small cube. The cube is mono-coloured, whereas the clutch features a print design called ‘The Dunes’ which is said to reflect the rolling sands of the Liwa desert in Abu Dhabi.

The kits will include the following Espa products: Nourishing Lip Treatment, Hydrating Spa Face Mist and Rejuvenating Hand and Body Lotion. They will also come loaded with eyeshades, earplugs and a travel dental kit.

First and Residence Class passengers will get a Giorgio Armani-branded large folio amenity kit, which Etihad claims is one of the largest ever given away by an airline. Available in four colours, Etihad says passengers will be able to repurpose the kits as a document holder or even a computer sleeve for laptops up to 13″.

Espa skincare featured in these kits include: Hydrating Spa Face Mist, Nourishing Lip Treatment, Restful Pulse Point Oil to aid relaxation in flight, Rest and Recovery Night Balm and Rejuvenating Hand and Body lotion

The tote bags feature Etihad’s iconic tailfin design, as well as special livery versions for its ‘Greenliner’ and Manchester City liveries.

  • I actually think I like the economy bag more than either other bag in terms of design, color, and re-use likelihood. And the skincare brand is not as nice as Emirates has (in either the in-suit or amenity kit) so, I am not wowed. Frankly the pajamas are even a little blah compared to Emirates gorgeous shawl collar moisturizing pajamas in First (and they are finally coming out with business class pajamas as well). What is strange is Etihad has lovely colors and style in general (only reflected in the economy bag) so I am shocked at the mediocre designs and brand choices.
