As noted by Award Wallet, German flag carrier Lufthansa is currently offering 500 bonus miles just for downloading and logging into its dedicated Miles & More mobile app.
Lufthansa recently relaunched its Miles & More app, and while it mimics pretty much everything you can already do on the website, the app also provides members with personalised offers and a new app-based challenge to earn additional miles which aren’t otherwise available.
The app also comes with useful features that will make it easier to manage your account and plan award redemptions when you’re on the go, including:
- A redemption mileage calculator
- A form to claim miles retroactively
- Regularly updated offers from Lufthansa and its partners
On average, Miles & More miles are worth around 1.3 cents each, meaning that you could earn as much as $5.50 simply by downloading and logging into the Miles & More app – on either Apple or Android.
Sadly, the offer is only available to first-time app users, and if you’re already using the app or have used it in the past, then this offer doesn’t apply.
As well as Lufthansa, Miles & More is used by Air Dolomiti, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Eurowings, LOT Polish Airlines, Luxair, and SWISS.
