Police officers at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD had to arrest a naked man yesterday after he sprinted onto the tarmac near Gate C10, of the domestic Terminal 2. It’s believed he had just dismbarked from a Delta Air Lines flight although why he decided to strip off and break into the restricted airside area is still unknown.
Video footage of the man casually walking near a taxi way was leaked on Twitter by an account going by the handke @ORDInsider. Luckily, police quickly intercepted and detained the man without any further incident. The incident comes just days after another bizarre video emerged of a completely man queuing to board a plane at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport.
The 38-year-old man casually queued up in the buff alongside other passengers who seemed to go about their business without even blinking at their fellow passenger’s lack of attire. The man was reported to have shouted that “clothing impairs the aerodynamics of the body” and that it’s possible to fly “with more agility when undressed.”
The man was ultimately detained by police before boarding the Ural Airlines flight bound for Simferopol International Airport in Crimea and taken to a local hospital for assessment.
And let’s not forget a similar incident at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport last June when 19-year old Jhryin Jones scaled a perimeter fence, stripped off to just his boxer shorts and then managed to jump onto the wing of a taxiing Delta Air Lines planes (there seems to be a theme here).
